CSC 111 Computers for Math and Science

    How do scientists use computers? Learn to use the Internet to electronically find, share and access scientific information. Use modern applications to collect and analyze data and present it in graphical form. Make a complete website with images, links, and multimedia. Learn to handle email attachments, compress and archive files. Write simple programs. Includes an introduction to computer hardware, software, networks, and privacy. Along the way, we consistently examine ways to transfer data among common file formats and between computers.
